-Wesleyans believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all men and women who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life.
-We believe that those who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord's Spirit. Salvation comes as a gift from God through grace in Jesus alone-we do not grant it, nor can we earn it. We do believe those who call upon Jesus must continue to embrace grace, not abuse it, and that an ongoing repentant relationship with God is essential to growth and ultimately full assurance of salvation. (Work out your salvation with fear and trembling and walk humbly before your God.)
-We believe in the Bible and seek to establish and develop our faith and actions on its teaching.
-We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and that the purpose of the Church is to tell the world about Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds. We want to attempt to break down any barrier that keeps the institution of the church progressing without furthering the Great Commission.
-The Fountain is affiliated with the Wesleyan Church. The name "Wesleyan" is in honor of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. The Wesleyan Church is known as a church "with Christ at heart and people in mind." This is reflected by a strong missions emphasis and outreach focus, both nationally and internationally. Our international headquarters is located in Fishers, Indiana. See wesleyan.org for more.
